Cassandra & Graeme Wedding - Assiniboine Park

Cassandra and Graeme's wedding in Winnipeg was truly a celebration to remember, blending tradition, music, and the beauty of nature into one unforgettable day. As accomplished bagpipe players, they infused their special day with the unique sounds of their passion, making their wedding as distinctive as their love story.

The day began with Cassandra getting ready at her parents' house, surrounded by her three older sisters and her best friend. The atmosphere was warm and full of excitement as Cassandra slipped into her stunning vintage-style dress from Pearl and Birch. Meanwhile, over in their Corydon apartment, Graeme and his groomsmen were preparing for the big day in a more laid-back fashion. Dressed in traditional kilts, the guys added a touch of classic charm to the occasion. Before meeting up with the girls, they took a classic car to a nearby brewery, where they shared a few drinks and plenty of laughs—a perfect way to ease any pre-wedding jitters.

The excitement peaked when Cassandra and Graeme saw each other for the first time during their First Look. Surrounded by their closest friends, the couple shared a private moment that was both emotional and full of joy. It was the perfect way to start the day, setting the tone for the celebrations to follow.

From there, we made our way to Assiniboine Park for the ceremony and bridal photos. The park, one of Winnipeg's most beloved outdoor spaces, provided a stunning backdrop for the day's events. The fall leaves had turned vibrant shades of red and orange, adding a warm and romantic touch to the ceremony. Cassandra and Graeme's wedding party was full of energy, making the photo session a lively and fun experience.

The ceremony itself was a heartfelt affair, made even more special by the sound of bagpipes played by one of their close friends as the couple walked out as newlyweds. The music added a layer of tradition and emotion, perfectly complementing the beautiful surroundings of Assiniboine Park's Pavilion and the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden.

As the sun began to set, the celebrations continued with a reception full of energy and love. The speeches from the bridal party and parents were touching and often humorous, reflecting the deep bonds shared by everyone in the room. The dance floor was packed all night long, with guests showing off their best moves in celebration of Cassandra and Graeme's union.

Every detail of the day was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed, from the vintage-style dress and traditional kilts to the elegant florals by Callia Flowers. The Pavilion at Assiniboine Park served as the perfect venue, offering a blend of indoor elegance and outdoor charm.

Cassandra and Graeme's wedding was a true celebration of love, family, and tradition, all set against the stunning backdrop of Winnipeg's Assiniboine Park. As photographers, we were honored to capture the magic of their day, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
