From a dazzling champagne tower to sparkler canons and a stunning second dress, this was a celebration that no one in attendance will soon forget. As their photographers and videographers, we had the immense pleasure of capturing every magical moment of their special day.
The Morning: Getting Ready in Downtown Winnipeg
The day began in the heart of downtown Winnipeg, where Jenessa and Tim prepared for the biggest day of their lives. The Beauty Box did an incredible job with hair and makeup, ensuring Jenessa looked flawless in her Calla Blanche Dress, Thalia. Meanwhile, Tim was looking sharp in his suit from Aldo Formal Wear. The excitement was palpable as they each got ready, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
First Look Along the Red River
We then headed to a quaint park along the Red River for the first look, a moment filled with emotion and anticipation. Jenessa and Tim’s connection was undeniable as they saw each other for the first time that day, and the beautiful Winnipeg skyline provided the perfect backdrop for this intimate moment. Their joy was infectious, and we captured some truly unforgettable photos and video footage that will be cherished for years to come.
Ceremony at Ashgrove Acres
Next, we made our way to Niverville, where their ceremony was held at the stunning Ashgrove Acres Wedding Venue. With its picturesque setting and elegant charm, Ashgrove Acres was the perfect location for their vows. The Floral Fixx created breathtaking floral arrangements that added a touch of romance to the already beautiful venue. As Jenessa walked down the aisle in her Enzoani Dress, Ashlyn, there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd. The ceremony was heartfelt and personal, a true reflection of their love for one another.
Cocktail Hour and Reception
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed delicious refreshments from Nomad Box Bar during cocktail hour. The reception that followed was nothing short of amazing. The decor, provided by Collective Rentals, Ornare Event Rentals, and Something Borrowed Wedding Rentals, was absolutely stunning, transforming the venue into a dreamlike space.
One of the highlights of the evening was the couple’s first dance. As they glided across the dance floor, sparkler canons went off, adding a magical touch to the moment. Later in the evening, Jenessa made a quick change into her second dress, and we captured some incredible photos with the colorful prairie sunset as the backdrop. The vibrant hues of the sky provided the perfect setting for these unforgettable images.
The energy at the reception was electric, with guests enjoying great music and dancing well into the night, thanks to the fantastic DJ and lighting provided by Crystal Sound. From a glamorous champagne tower to a lively conga line and even a spirited game of flip cup, the night was filled with laughter and joy. Every detail, from the decor to the florals, came together beautifully to create a celebration that was truly one for the books.
